DIVIDING SYSTEM FOR SHEET MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dividing system capable of promptly dividing PS plates into a prescribed accumulation place, even if an interval between PS plates carried by a conveyer is narrow. SOLUTION: When cut off by a cutter, an accumulation place of PS plates is memorized in a control means. The number of the PS plates 32A is counted, and the PS plates 32A to be divided by a flap 48 is distinguished on the basis of a signal of an optical sensor 38. The stroke of the PS plates 32A carried to an accumulation place onward from the optical sensor 38 and the stroke of PS plates 32B carried to a rear accumulation place from the optical sensor 38 are calculated by a pulse encoder. When the stroke becomes a specified value, the flap 48 is rotated upward, and the PS plates 32B is sent to a conveyer 96. The flap 48 is not actuated after checking that the PS plates is not on the flap 48, but actuated with a timing when the PS plates partially contacts with the flap 48, so that the division of the PS plates is enabled even if an interval of the PS plates is narrow.
