WINDOW GLASS FITTING STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembling property of a door module by stably holding window glass to a sub-inner panel of the door module. SOLUTION: A sub-inner panel 1 made of synthetic resin and assembled to a door outer panel is provided with window glass 2 in an elevating manner, and a pair of front and rear guide rails 3, 4 for engaging the window glass 2. The guide rails 3, 4 are formed integrally with the sub-inner panel 1. The door outer panel is provided with a sash extension part that forms a vertical pair with one guide rail 4 out of the guide rails 3, 4. A wide opening part is formed at the opposed end part of one guide rail 4 and sash extension part. Channel members brought into close contact with the window glass 2 are mounted to each guide rail, a sash and its extension part.
