MANUFACTURE OF DECORATIVE PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative panel, the surface material of which can be bonded to a core by correctly positioning the surface material to the core and also can be bonded by easily bending the end part of the surface material without the possibilities that the surface material might be peeled by spring back or the like. SOLUTION: A surface material 2 whose width is almost the same as the width of a core 1 is bonded to the surface of the core 1. Next the end part on both sides of the core 1 is cut off to form a notch 3 and at the same time, the back face of the surface material 2 is cut off at the part of the notch 3 to form a surface material part 4 with a thin wall. After that, the surface material part 4 with a thin wall is folded along the cut face 5 of the core 1 formed by notching the core 1 to bond the surface material part 4 with a thin wall on the cut face 5 of the core 1.
