GROUND FOR SUPPRESSING PLANT GROWTH AND ITS PLANTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ground for suppressing plant growth, not capable of supporting a normal growth of the plant and provide a method for planting, suppressing the plant growth by using the same ground. SOLUTION: This ground for suppressing the plant growth comprises a ground with a material not capable of supporting a normal growth of a plant, a material obtained by mixing a soil or a soil-improving agent with the above material, a material modified to a material not capable of supporting the normal growth of the plant by mixing a material having a hazardous property for the plant growth with the soil or the soil-improving agent, a material created by installing bags filled with the above materials, a material obtained by spraying or mixing a soil for germinating and/or initial growing with the surface of the above ground for suppressing the plant growth, or a material created by installing a penetrating root-blocking sheet or board capable of inhibiting the extension of the root at the lower part or side part of the above material. Or, the method for planting capable of suppressing the plant growth is provided by sowing or transplanting a plant capable of growing in the above plant growth suppressing ground.
