AUTOMATIC INSPECTION DEVICE AND PROTECTIVE RELAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect only one trip command output means even if an inspection command is outputted to a plurality of trip command output means at a duplicate period of time. SOLUTION: When inspection by a main detection unit 10 starts, a signal '1' is outputted from a main detection inspection start circuit 18, and the signal resets a failure detection inspection start circuit 36 and a timer 42 of the failure detection unit 12. After the output signal of the main detection inspection circuit 18 is delayed by a timer 24 by (t) hours provided that a reset signal is not inputted from the failure detection unit 12, the output signal is inputted into an OR gate 28. The signal '1' is outputted to relay contacts MX1-MXn at an AND gate 30 provided that a main detection inspection lock signal at '1' level is not inputted from the failure detection unit 12, thereby inspecting the relay contacts MX1-MXn automatically.
