Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance COP by reducing the quantity of heat being thrown into an evaporator through an arrangement wherein refrigerant liquid generated from a condenser is heated in a refrigerant/absorbing liquid heat exchanger with high temperature absorbing liquid returned from a desorber through an absorbing liquid return pipe before being supplied to the evaporator. SOLUTION: The absorption heat pump comprises a regenerator 1, a condenser 2, an evaporator 3, an absorber 4, a resorber 5 where refrigerant vapor supplied from the evaporator 3 is absorbed into absorbing liquid, and a desorber 6 for heating the absorbing liquid having high refrigerant concentration supplied from the resorber 5 to separate the refrigerant from the absorbing liquid through evaporation, supplying the absorbing liquid having lowered refrigerant concentration to a heat exchanger 8 also supplied with absorbing liquid from the resorber 5 and returning the heat exchanged absorbing liquid back to the resorber 5, and supplying refrigerant vapor separated from the absorbing liquid through evaporation to the absorber 4. The absorption heat pump further comprises a heat exchanger 9 for exchanging heat between refrigerant liquid supplied from the condenser 2 to the evaporator 3 and absorbing liquid being returned from the desorber 6 back to the resorber 5, and a heat exchanger 10 for exchanging heat between absorbing liquid being supplied from the regenerator 1 to the absorber 4 and refrigerant liquid being returned from the desorber 6 back to the resorber 5.
