Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure by conducting maintenance for the devices such as a hot water washing device, a heating toilet seat and the like before the working life of the device is ended to cause a failure. SOLUTION: After each of these devices is manufactured, in the lapse of a preset time after installation or the start of use, a display of 'COMMUNI CATE WITH SERVICE CENTER' or the like is made on a liquid crystal panel 41. Thus, before the working life of the device is ended to cause a failure, the device can be subjected to maintenance to prevent a failure. After a service man visiting from the service center conducts maintenance work, switches 42-46 are operated according to a specified pattern to generate a reset signal, and the storage time of a non-volatile storage part is canceled to again restart clocking. When the device is not subjected to maintenance, in the lapse of designated time after that, application of an electric current to heaters 4, 13 is stopped.
