Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an efficiently dried sludge by effectively utilizing vaporized steam from a drying part as heat source for preliminary heating the sludge and sending the preliminary heated sludge to a sludge separation part and the drying part to unnecessitate a flocculant. SOLUTION: This sludge drying device is constituted with a sludge storage part 1 for storing the sludge with stirring, a sludge heating tank part 3 provided with the heat source 13 for heating the sludge sent from the sludge storage part 1, the sludge separation part 5 for separating the heated sludge sent from the sludge heating tank part 3 into high temp. released water and high temp. concentrated sludge and the drying part 7 for giving new heat to the high temp. concentrated sludge sent from the sludge separation part 5 to vaporize water to take out as dried powder from the bottom. The vaporized steam generated in the drying part 7 is sent to the heating source 13 of the sludge heating tank part 3 as the heat source for heating to be effectively utilized.
