Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst, a method and a device for treating exhaust gases discharged from various incineration furnaces such as city refuse incineration furnaces, industrial waste incineration furnaces or sludge incineration furnaces. SOLUTION: This catalyst is constituted of a carrier composed of a mixed oxide or a complex oxide containing at least two kinds selected from the group of titanium oxide, tungsten oxide, molybdenum oxide, cerium oxide and zirconium oxide and a catalyst component containing at least one selected from the group of each oxide of vanadium, niobium and tantalum, which catalyst component is supported on the carrier. An device for treating the exhaust gas by using this catalyst is constituted of a dust cleaner 12 for removing particles of soot in the exhaust gas 11 discharged from an incineration furnace and a catalyst unit 13 for removing harmful substances such as nitrogen oxides, dioxins or highly condensed aromatic hydrocarbons. |
