TREATMENT OF WASTE GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detoxify waste gas discharged from a municipal refuse incinerator, a combustible waste treating furnace, a metal refinery, etc., and containing the harmful material such as dioxins while reducing the usage of activated carbon. SOLUTION: In the waste gas treating method including a stage for removing the solid contained in the waste gas by blowing activated carbon into the waste gas generated by combustion and heating, adsorbing and removing the harmful material contained in the waste gas, then sending the waste gas from which the harmful material is thus removed to a bag filter, the blowing of the activated carbon is executed intermittently.
