Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop overcurrent of a main switch circuit by providing a current detecting part so as to be capable of detecting current passing through the main switch circuit in series with a high-frequency inverter circuit, and transmitting a stop command for a gate signal from a control system, when the current detecting part detects overcurrent. SOLUTION: This high-frequency inverter HIv, such as a laser power source consists of a DC-DC converter 1, a main switch circuit 3 capable of switching a circuit for load equipment, a capacitor C, a discharging circuit 4, a current detecting part 5, and a control system 6, wherein a current detecting part 7 is provided which detects a current value passing through the main switch circuit 3. When the current detecting part 7 detects overcurrent, the overcurrent to the main switch circuit 3 is prevented by the gate signal stop command from the control system 6.
