PICTURE INFORMATION TRANSMITTING METHOD USING OFDM AND ITS APPLIED DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture information transmitting method in which a TV program is continuously viewed even in a travelling place having difficulty of reception such as in a tunnel by providing a method that a narrow band OFDM signal for transmitting traffic information or the like is constituted or a method that a broad band OFDM signal for simultaneously transmitting a TV signal with traffic information or the like is constituted. SOLUTION: The TV signals from respective channels are demodulated in accordance with an upper boundary number for transmission from the side of a base station in frequency converting circuits 9-a and 9-b and demodulating circuits 10a-10b. Hierarchy separating circuits 11-a and 11-b separate the TV signal of a hierarchy (called the A hierarchy) for securing least picture quality. The plurality of TV signals of the A hierarchy, traffic information and information T required for a safety support system are adopted as a transmitted information signal, an OFDM signal is constituted by an OFDM modulating circuit 12 and the OFDM signal is transmitted by a transmission antenna 14 for communication between a road and a vehicle via a transmission amplifier circuit 13.
