Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide AV equipment(audiovisual equipment) which automatically restores the operation of a signal processing circuit if the signal processing circuit equipped with a reset terminal operates abnormally when the signal processing circuit is provided. SOLUTION: In this AV equipment, an answer signal A to the control signal from a microcomputer 5, a synchronizing signal B synchronizing with the output signal of a tuner 2, and a decision signal C indicating whether the operation of the signal processing circuit 3 is normal or abnormal are supplied from a TDM demodulating circuit 31 of the signal processing circuit 3 to the microcomputer 5. The microcomputer 5 judges whether the operation of the signal processing circuit 3 is normal or abnormal according to the answer signal A, synchronizing signal B, and decision signal C and sends a reset signal to the TDM demodulating circuit 31 and an MPEG decoding circuit 32 when judging that the operation of the signal processing circuit 3 is normal.
