PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly translate foreign music information while considering characters such as a genre or distinction of sex of a singer. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a music information data base 3 for storing music information such as titles of the lyrics, genre, names of singers and the distinction of sex beforehand and a translated word table 5 based on genre and the distinction of sex and when translating the lyrics of a foreign artist, the genre and the name of the singer or the like are extracted from the data base 3 on the basis of the inputted title or the like. Further, a translation reflecting processing means 23 generates a translated sentence while using translated words corresponding to the genre and the distinction of sex of the singer.
