Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow accurate and rapid measurement of mercury. SOLUTION: A first block 1 and a second block 2 are provided. A flat fixed surface 1a of the first block 1 comes into contact with a flat movable surface 2a of the second block 2. A through hole 3 is formed in the first block 1. One end of this through hole 3 is provided on the fixed surface 1a. An axially reciprocating slide pin 4 is inserted into the through hole 3. The second block 2 has a recessed part 2b filled with mercury. An opening end 2c of this recessed part 2b is provided on the flat movable surface 2a. The through hole 3 communicates with the recessed part 2b. At least one of the first block 1 and the second block is moved in parallel with a boundary surface between the through hole 3 and the recessed part 2b to release the communicating state between the through hole 3 and the recessed part 2b.
