SOLUTION: In a sub engine system of compressor driving unit for a freezer for overland transportation which is equipped with an engine and an electric motor as the drive source for a compressor for compressing a refrigerant, an engine driving compressor 32 directly coupled with an engine 31 for compressor drive, and a motor driving compressor 40 operating with an external power source, are provided.
