Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-purity epoxysilane at low cost in a short time and in high yield by eliminating a catalyst from a specific epoxysilane crude product followed by distillation. SOLUTION: This epoxysilane is obtained by eliminating a catalyst from an epoxysilane crude product prepared by reaction between (A) a hydrogensilane and (B) allyl glycidoether in the presence of (C) the catalyst, and then by distillation of the resultant epoxysilane crude product thus freed from the catalyst; wherein the elimination of the catalyst is preferably made by adsorption or reduction; the distillation is made using a distillation column; and the component C is pref. a hydrosilylating catalyst, esp. noble metal catalyst based on Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir or the like. This epoxysilane thus obtained is e.g. an epoxysilane of the formula (R is a 1-4C alkyl or aryl; R1 is a 1-4C alkyl; n is 0-2) (e.g. 3- glycxdyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane). |
