OPENING/CLOSING CONTROL DEVICE OF OPENING/CLOSING BODY FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a traveling impossible state accompanying failure of closing action of an opening/closing body and occurrence of a burglary by forming a control means to control the opening/closing body in a manner that when an opening signal is inputted, the control means previously determines the normal or abnormal condition of a closing side control circuit, and in the case of the abnormal condition, the control means prohibits the opening control of the opening/closing body based on the opening signal. SOLUTION: DC voltage of a battery 1 is supplied to a microcomputer 11 in a control circuit 15. When a closing switch or opening switch 6 in a control box 4 is closed, a signal is inputted to the microcomputer 11 through an input circuit 9 or 10, operation result is outputted to an output circuit 13 according to input of the signal to the microcomputer 11, electric power is supplied to a motor 16, and an opening part is closed or opened. When a power supply switch is inputted, existence of the opening signal is checked, and if there is no opening signal, opening control is performed and also cancellation of shift lock is prohibited. In the case that the opening signal may exit and the closing switch is failed, opening control is prohibited, and failure is informed. A traveling impossible state accompanied by the closing failure of the opening/closing body and occurrence of burglary can be prevented.
