Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aeration apparatus making it possible to easily perfonm maintenance and control work for a driving device. SOLUTION: A suction part 5 is provided to the upper part of the straight pipe 4 vertically arranged in a reaction tank 1 in an immersed state and the stand 6 supporting the straight pipe 4 is provided and an air feeder 7 is provided so as to communicate with the midway part of the straight pipe 4 and a discharge part 10 is arranged so as to rise and lower along the inner peripheral surface being the guide surface of the straight pipe. A driver 11 rotationally driving an impeller 12 is fixed to the discharge part 10 and a lift means 15 driving the discharge part 10 so as to raise and lower the same along with the driver 11 and the impeller 12 is provided.
