PRODUCTION OF SEAT AND PRODUCTION APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to produce a seat with high working efficiency enabling molding of a surface skin material and combining or the surface skin material, a cushion material and a bottom plate with the same recessed mold. SOLUTION: The production apparatus for seats consists of the recessed mold 10 and a frame as essential components. The recessed mold 10 is so constituted that a portion 10a forming a portion to form a seat surface and a portion 10b for forming a back rest part may be simultaneously formed. The recessed part 10 is so formed as to allow the press fitting of the cushion material and the bottom plate. A vacuum pump is connected to the recessed part 10. The inside of the recessed part 10 is evacuated to create a vacuum state by activating this vacuum pump. A series of stages including the vacuum forming of the surface skin material, the combining of the surface skin material, the cushion material and the bottom plate and further the joining of the terminal part of the surface skin material and the bottom plate may be all executed within the recessed mold 10.
