DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND RECEIVING TERMINAL DEVICE FOR SOFTWARE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a distribution system which can correctly and easily update software by selecting an object to be updated when there is a necessity of update or there are plural data and programs to be distributed, determining the update procedure for the object data or program, and updating it. SOLUTION: A distribution list management part 125 generates a distribution software list as the distribution contents and distribution schedule of software to be distributed from a station 100. A distribution-side communication part 115 sends a distribution start signal to terminal devices 150 on many vehicles. And the terminal device 150 side, a terminal-side communication part 155 receives the distribution software list distributed from the station 100. An update procedure management part 190 selects software or a software group which needs to be updated according to the distribution software list sent from the station 100 and manages the order of update. Then a terminal-side control part 180 initializes the distribution number of reference software.
