Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive photosensitive composition for infrared laser beams for directly forming a printing plate wide in development latitude and small in deterioration of developability after storage and the lithographic printing plate having a photosensitive layer using this composition. SOLUTION: This positive photosensitive composition contains (A) an alkali- water soluble polymer compound, (B) a photothermo converter, and (C) a phenol derivative having a phenolic OH and -CH2OR (R is an alkyl or acryl group) in the molecule, and the photosensitive layer is formed by coating a hydrophilic support with this photosensitive composition containing (A), (B), and (C) and the lithographic printing plate is formed by using this photosensitive layer.
