POSITIONING DEVICE FOR PIPE LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain constant an insertion length of a pipe line to a connection sleeve and an extra length of the connection sleeve to thereby eliminate manual adjustment of insertion length of pipe line by disposing a spacer block that can secure an extra length part in the connection sleeve, and making an end of the pipe line to abut on the spacer block. SOLUTION: In this device 20, a connection sleeve 3 is inserted from the side of a cable connection box 2, then it is brought into contact with each tapered face 70, 72 of a pair of spacer block members 46a, 46b of a spacer block 46 by pulling an expansion/contraction member 44, and the spacer block 46 is expanded/contracted to press an inner wall of the sleeve 3, thereby securing an extra length part S of a pipe line 1. Thereafter, the line 1 is inserted from an end of the sleeve 3, and the end is made to abut against the block 46. Accordingly, the line 1 is inserted to a certain insertion length L while securing the extra length part S, thereby improving the efficiency of work.
