Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moisture-proof coated paper excellent in moisture-proofing property and defibrability and a copolymer latex used in production of the coated paper and a composition for coating for moisture-proof paper including the copolymer latex and a pigment. SOLUTION: In the production of the coated paper a copolymer latex obtained by polymerizing monomers comprising 25-70 wt.% of an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer, 20-70 wt.% of an aromatic vinyl monomer, 1-35 wt.% of an ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer and 0-50 wt.% of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with these monomers in an aqueous medium and the copolymer has tetrahydrofuran insoluble part >=60 wt.%, glass transition temperature of -10 to 50 deg.C and the particle size of the latex of 50 to 300 nm and film formed from the latex has weight loss rate
