Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody a process for producing an endoscope curving part having a smooth surface substantially free from ruggedness on a surface even after formation of a sheath by lessening the ruggedness on the surface of a knitted pipe in the endoscope curving part. SOLUTION: A knitting machine 1 used as a knitting stage is started, by which respective element wires 5 are knitted on the outer periphery of a core material 4 of an outside diameter equal to the outside diameter of a curving pipe or slightly larger or smaller than the same and a knitted pipe 6 is formed. The outer periphery of the curving pipe is coated with the knitted pipe 6 formed in the knitting stage separately from the core material 4 in the next knitted pipe coating stage. The respective ends are fixed by brazing and further the outer periphery of the knitted pipe 6 is coated with the soft sheath in the next sheath forming stage. The respective ends of the sheath coating the knitted pipe ate fixed by winding of yarn-like materials, by which the curving pipe may be produced. As a result, the process for producing the endoscope curving part having the smooth surface substantially free from the ruggedness on the surface even after the formation of the sheath by lessening the ruggedness on the surface of the knitted pipe in the endoscope curving part may be embodied.
