Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject tool by including a support bearing e.g. a sub stance bringing to an optical assay an enzyme, a substrate thereof, a substance capable of forming the substrate or a reaction product by the action of the enzyme or substrate, each subject to inhibition of its activity by an object sub stance to be assayed in a biological sample. SOLUTION: This assaying tool is obtained by including a support bearing a substance bringing to an optical assay an enzyme (e.g. acetylcholinesterase, butyrylcholinesterase, pseudocholinesterase, lipase or alkaline phosphatase), a substrate thereof, a substance capable of forming the substrate or a reaction product by the action of the enzyme or substrate, each subject to inhibition of its activity by an object substance to be assayed in a biological sample, such as an azide, cyanide, organophosphorus compound or carbamic acid compound. The assaying tool thus obtained is useful in the fields including chemistry, life science, food, environmental science and clinical examination.
