Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preservation method for a biosensor chip which is stable even at a high temperature and for a long period. SOLUTION: This detecting method for a biosensor which detects a target substance in a sample by using a biosensor chip in which a capturing substance is carried is provided with a first mode, wherein the sample, preferably a cleaning solution, is supplied to the surface of the biosensor chip and the binding amount of the target substance to the capturing substance is detected as a sensor output value. The detecting method is provided with a second mode, wherein a solution which is used to maintain the activity of the capturing substance is supplied to the surface of the biosensor chip, and the surface of the biosensor chip is immersed in the solution.
