SOLUTION: When the charged amount of a battery is small, a generator motor is driven by utilizing power immediately after starting discharging to effectively start an engine, and immediately after the combustion of the engine is started, control gain of a proportional term is set large. Thus, a required time from a start time of the engine to a target value Neb of a rotational speed Ne of the engine is shortened, until a supplied power from the battery becomes a value smaller than the predetermined value of the supplied power from the battery, and the speed Ne of the engine is intentionally made to overshoot exceeding the target value Neb. After the overshoot is caused, the speed Ne of the engine is settled to the value Neb, until a time t3 by utilizing a decrease in the speed by an inertia of the speed of the engine, and then a clutch is engaged at the time point. |
