Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a head-mounted display device which is made smaller in size and lighter in weight by imparting the matching property between real images and imaginary images, eliminating the deviation in the timing between both images and imparting the convenience of a line-of-sight input operation function and is provided with an extremely high degree of an information processing function as a head-mounted mobile tool. SOLUTION: The array-like image light from an LED array 9 is made incident via an objective lens 10 on a drive mirror 11 and the reflected rays are made incident via half mirrors 7a and 7b on eyepiece lenses 8a and 8b to project the imaginary images on virtual screens 50a and 50b. The real image light past window parts 3a and 3b is made incident on the objective lenses 6a and 6b, the half mirrors 7a and 7b and the eyepiece lenses 8a and 8b, by which the real images and the imaginary images are superposed on each other. The cursor image is outputted by the LED array 9 and is superposed on the real images. The cursor image is displaced in the real images according to the direction of the line of sight and a desired region is assigned. Image processing, such as, character extraction and interpretation, is executed in this assigned region and the result are projected.
