CARD DISCHARGING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card discharging mechanism capable of discharging cards with a small electric power and capable of securely discharging cards even if an electrical failure is generated. SOLUTION: An ejector housing base part 110 is provided with a slide member 120 freely to be slid in the fore and aft direction, and the slide member 120 is energized forward by a spring 130. A toggle device 140 holds the slide member 120 for lock, resisting the energizing force of the spring 130, when the insertion of the card 2 is concluded. This lock is released by supplying the electric power to an electromagnetic solenoid 160 so as to attract a lock releasing shaft 150 left or pushing a pushing part 170a of a lock releasing lever 170 backward so as to push the lock releasing shaft 150 left. With the release of the lock, the slide member 120 is moved forward by the energizing force of the spring 130, and the card 2 is discharged from the connector 1.
