Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat resistance, oil resistance, and water resistance by forming portions kept in contact with engine cooling water with a polyamide resin covered with a water-resistant resin in under-hood components such as the intake manifold, suction resonator, and engine cover of an automobile. SOLUTION: Under-hood components having contact portions with engine cooling water, particularly under-hood components suitable for an intake manifold, are manufactured by injection molding or the like, and at least portions kept in contact with engine cooling water are formed with a polyamide resin covered with a water-resistant resin, of course the whole components may be formed with the polyamide resin covered with the water-resistant resin. A resin composition to be used preferably includes an inorganic filler of 0-150 pts.wt. against the polyamide resin, 6-nylon, 66-nylon, or their mixture of 100 pts.wt. A polyolefin resin or a polypropylene resin is preferably used for the water-resistant resin.
