SOLUTION: A wire of conductive metal is sent out by a second gripper feeder toward a work 11, and the tip is arranged as mating with a mounting hole provided in the work 11. The tip of the wire is cut off by a cutting and caulking die 25, and the cut piece 22a is caulked to the mounting hole so that a contact 13 is formed.
