CASSETTE CARRYING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a cassette loading mechanism and a cassette extruding mechanism by operating first and second racks in the ejecting direction of a cassette with a driving means, further operating the second rack in the ejecting direction of the cassette after stopping the first rack and extruding the cassette with a sub-holder. SOLUTION: When a cassette 30 is ejected from a cassette-down position, a motor 21 is operated in the ejecting direction of a cassette to rotate a driving gear 27, and an inner rack 12 is integrally operated together with an outer rack 17 to move the cassette up to a cassette-in position. The projecting part of the inner rack 12 is extruded in the ejecting direction of the cassette with the notched part 29 of the driving gear 27 in the cassette-in position, and the inner rack 12 is stopped by disengagement of meshing with the driving gear 27. However, since the outer rack 17 is meshed with the driving gear 27, the outer rack 17 is further operated, and the cassette 30 is further extruded in the ejecting direction with the bent part 6 of a sub-holder 5.
