Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the evaluating of the validity of mounting conditions of mounting positions of sensors or the like by making detecting ranges of the sensors visible in a three-dimensional state easily. SOLUTION: In this evaluating and simulating device, afer the three- dimensional shaped model surface of an object model is formed as the set of many unit surfaces from building three-dimensional data 5 stored in a database, unit surfaces existing in detecting ranges are calculated with a ray-tracing algorithm based on mounting conditions of respective sensors in a detecting range calculating means 3 and color information of the respective sensors are set to corresponding unit surfaces and the picture of the three-dimensional model seen from the viewpoint set based on a set display condition is displayed. At this time, the detecting ranges in the model surface of the respective sensors are displayed by being colored to colors set for every sensor.
