SOUNDPROOF TYPE GROMMET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent noise from passing through the soundproof film of a cup part. SOLUTION: In the grommet 1 wherein a soundproof film 2 is extended so as to be provided for the inner side of a cup part 4 inserted through a wire harness, and the soundproof film is turned over in the cup part 4 so as to be housed therein, the turned over part 3 of the soundproof film is made thicker in thickness than the other portions. The turned over part 3 is tapered toward its tip end so as to be increased in thickness. The turned over part 3 is made thick in the thickness except its curved part 18 at its base part side. A cylindrical part is provided for the inner side of the cup part 4, an inclined part 12 is extended outward from the cylindrical part so as to be provided, and the inclined part is continued to the curved part 18 so as to be furthermore continued to the turned over part 3. Or in a grommet wherein the soundproof film is extended so as to be provided for the inner side of the cup part inserted through the wire harness, and the soundproof film is turned over in the cup part so as to be housed therein, a protective wall covering the curved part at the base part side for the turned over part of the soundproof film, is extended so as to be provided for the cup part. The protection wall is projected longer than the curved part.
