Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the desulfurizing load in a refining furnace by adjusting slag quantity before desulfurizing treatment to a value in a specified range and the slag quantity after desulfurizing treatment to a value not higher than a specified value. SOLUTION: The slag quantity before the dsulfurizing treatment is adjusted to 20-60 kg/ton of roughly molten steel and the slag quantity after the desulfurizing treatment to =1.5 and the slag composition is controlled so that the liquid phase ratio of the slag becomes >=90% and further, Al2O3 concn. in the slag to =5 mass % are desirable to be adjusted. The roughly molten steel is melted in an electric arc furnace and the molten crude steel is tapped together with the slag into a ladle and the desulfurizing treatment is executed in the ladle. For promoting the desulfurization in the ladle and making the quantity of S charged into the refining furnace in the following process stably to the low level, it is important to make the slag quantity before and after the desulfurizing treatment to be suitable and control the slag composition after the desulfurizing treatment to be in the suitable conditional range. |
