Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a feeling of incompatibility given to a driver by stopping while keeping a designated inter-vehicle distance by means of keeping the braking force of a braking device in the increasing state, in the event when an anti-lock brake control means becomes operating condition in the course of deceleration in the condition of running on a low friction coefficient road surface. SOLUTION: When an inter-vehicle distance L, an own vehicle speed Vs, and an operating condition signal AB of an antilock brake control device (ABS) are read and it is judged that ABS is in the non-operating condition and running on a high friction coefficient road surface is decided, inter-vehicle distance control processing is executed (S1-S4). On the other hand, when ABS is in the operating condition, running on a low friction coefficient road surface is decided, and after a warning sound is generated by an alarm signal AR, in prior to a braking pressure command value generated by ABS, the maximum braking pressure command signal SBMAX for generating the maximum braking force which can be generated by a brake actuator is output to a braking control device (S6, S7). Thus, a vehicle can be stopped at an inter-vehicle distance with allowance to the inter-vehicle distance at the time of stopping the vehicle. |
