SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CALL-INCOMING PERSON DESIGNATING SERVICE THROUGH THE USE OF PASSWORD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect communication through the use of respectively different passwords even when opposite parties are plural persons by providing a connecting means for connecting a communication path between a caller's terminal and a call-incoming person's terminal for speaking when passwords are matched. SOLUTION: A call-incoming person dials (inputs) a password corresponding to a call-incoming person specifying number. In this case, a call-incoming person who takes a handset first transfers the handset to a person corresponding to the call-incoming person specifying number. Then, the receiving person dials (inputs) his/her password. The receiver device 18 of an exchange 1 receives the password dialed (inputted) via a switching device 11 and transfers control to a controller 14, which collates the received password with a password in the call-incoming person telephone number table. Then, when the result of the collation is matched, the controller 14 regards the person as the call- incoming person requested by the caller and connects a speaking path by a switching device 11 to allow a terminal 63 and a terminal 62 to speak with each other.
