Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system where general concept for selling a copy can be applied to a digital copying machine and/or a network printing environment by preserving image data related with a job in a memory and outputting image data on the job in the memory in accordance with the confirmation of the payment of the cost of the job by means of a printer. SOLUTION: When the user of a computer 14 has a job to print by a machine 10, the user generates a job ticket. When the job ticket is received, a controller 30 allows the various elements of the machine 10 to store data on the job in a buffer 20 and generates the queue of the job in the buffer 20. When the total cost of the jobs displayed in the job ticket is calculated, the cost is displayed on the computer 14 or a queue display 32 on the machine 10. When payment is received, the machine 10 starts outputting the desired job.
