ROTARY CONTAINER TYPE MIXER/DRYER AND MECHANISM FOR PREVENTING DAMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mixer/dryer provided with a suction pipe having one end inserted into a container in which accompanied turning or damage of a piping member is prevented effectively by urging the suction pipe in a specified direction and stopping rotation of the container before resistive displacement of the suction pipe exceeds a specified level. SOLUTION: A double cone type container 1 provided, at the upper end thereof, with a throw-in opening 3 being opened/closed freely by a cover 2 and, at the lower end thereof, with a discharge opening 4 incorporating a butterfly valve can be turned freely about shaftlike bodies 5 positioned in the center on the left and right side faces by means of a motor 9 through a chain 11. A suction pipe 13 inserted into one shaftlike body 5 has one end inserted into the container 1 and the other end coupled with a vacuum pump. A damage prevention mechanism A is provided in order to prevent accompanied turning or damage of the suction pipe 13 and rotation of the container 1 is stopped when a specified load acts on the suction pipe 13 to turn a position reference plate while resisting against an urging means and a detecting means is turned on.
