Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the dropping of water drops into a room by recovering reliably the dew drops generated on a refrigerant pipeline in the indoor unit of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: The indoor unit 30 of an air conditioner is provided with a unit casing 3, an indoor heat exchanger 9 arranged the upper part of the unit casing 3, and a drain pan 15 for receiving dew drops adhered to the indoor heat exchanged below the indoor heat exchanger 9. The inlet pipe 31 and the outlet pipe 33 of the refrigerant, which are connected to the indoor heat exchanger 9 are provided with draining plates 35, 37 between a part passing through the grommets 41 at the side parts of the drain pan 15 and the connecting part of the indoor heat exchanger 9 so as to be suspended while respective pipes between the draining plates 35, 37 and the indoor heat exchanger 9 are position above the reserving space 15b of the drain pan 15. Respective pipes between the draining plates 35, 37 and the parts passing through the grommets 41 are covered with insulating materials 43, 45.
