METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EXPOSING AGGREGATE IN CONCRETE PAVEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly remove mortar constituents around aggregate by rotating/revolving a brush around the axis substantially vertical relative to the pavement while bringing the brush into contact with the concrete pavement surface. SOLUTION: In a cutter 22 a supporting device 40 is connected to a carriage 20, and a plurality of rotary brushes 42 and a plurality of wiping brushes 44 are arranged inside the supporting device 40. While the brush 42 is revolved around a first axial line by means of the revolving device 46, it is rotated around a second axis. A brush 44 is revolved around the first axis by the revolving device 46. In this way, the moving directions of the brushes 42, 44 to aggregate are varied according to the rotating/revolving motion of them, so the brushes 42, 44 are brought into contact with the peripheral part of the aggregate uniformly, and consequently, the mortar constituents around the aggregate can be removed evenly.
