Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flowability of water-absorptive resin particles so that the particles, when scattered by a roll mechanism, can be smoothly scattered without causing blocking by mechanically mixing the resin particles with water and talc. SOLUTION: Suitable amounts of water and talc added are 0.05-15 pts.wt. and 0.05-5 pts.wt., respectively, based on 100 pts.wt. of dried water-absorptive resin particles. A polymer which has carboxyl groups and/or carboxylated moieties, and one regarded as a water-absorptive resin is used. The resin is used in the form of particle size of about 1,000 μm or smaller. The particles are prepared by pulverizing and drying a water-containing gel obtained by the so-called aqueous solution polymerization wherein an aqueous monomer solution is polymerized in bulk. Talc is used preferably in the form of a powder, preferably having an average particle size of 3-15 μm, preferably containing 90 wt.% or higher of fine particles particularly having particle sizes of 45 μm or smaller. |
