Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cosmetic capable of forming a coat having good hair-setting power and a good feeling, and especially suitable for spraying, by making a specific amphoteric ion group-containing polymer self-emulsify in a dispersion medium comprising water and a volatile solvent. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic comprises (A) an amphoteric ion group- containing polymer which contains (i) a structural unit containing an amphoteric ion group, (ii) a structural unit derived from a hydrophilic monomer and (iii) a structural unit derived from a hydrophobic monomer and has a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000-1,000,000, (B) water and (C) a volatile organic solvent, and further making the component A self-emulsify in a dispersion medium comprising the components B and C. The component A preferably comprises 10-80 wt.% of the component (i), 0.1-40 wt.% of the component (ii) and 10-80 wt.% of the component (iii). A monomer of formula I [R1 is H or methyl; R2 and R5 are each an alkylene; R3 and R4 are each an alkyl; X1 is O, or the like; Y is COO, or the like], a monomer of formula II [R6 and R7 are each an alkyl; X2 is a divalent radical; (m) is O or 1] and a monomer of formula III (R19 is an alkyl, or the like) are exemplified as the monomers of the components (i), (ii) and (iii), respectively. |
