Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely protect articles from water and to identify surface water generated on packaged articles from the outside. SOLUTION: In the condensation preventing sheet for use in packaging articles, an inside sheet 4 is superposed on the inner side of a water absorbing polymer layer 2 having water absorption properties. The sheet 4 is a waterproofing and air-permeable sheet which is permeable to gas and prevents or limits the passage of water. Under conditions that articles are packaged, surface water 6 attached to the outside surface of the condensation preventing sheet 1 is absorbed in the layer 2, and the passage of the water 6 is prevented or limited by the sheet 4.
