Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change to various modes in accordance with a state of each operation means by separating the operation means to a FAX function means, and at least one of a copy function and a printer function means in an image- forming apparatus such as a digital composite machine or the like. SOLUTION: In a digital composite machine with various functions as the image-forming apparatus, a set operator panel as an operating means is an operator panel 1 for at least one of a copy function and a printer function, and an operator panel 2 for a FAX mode. Control parts 1a and 2a for controlling the two operator panels 1 and 2 have I/F control parts 1b and 2b for processing to execute smooth control to the parts respectively. The I/F control parts 1b and 2b are connected with each other as above, communicate with each other, smoothly process the operation of the apparatus and move to an initial state or a power save mode in accordance with a use state of the operator panel.
