Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce recoverable sulfur compounds from waste acid and regenerate acids from sulfur compounds, by spraying a waste acid stream through a low-pressure air assist nozzle to generate a sprayed waste acid stream, and by generating a sulfur dioxide stream from the sprayed waste acid stream. SOLUTION: A waste acid stream is sprayed through a low-pressure air assist nozzle to generate a sprayed waste acid stream, from which a sulfur dioxide stream is generated. The nozzle has a plurality of orifices, and the spraying the waste acid stream through the low-pressure air assist nozzle produces waste acid droplets having a sorter average diameter of 200 to 700 μm. The generation of the sulfur dioxide from the waste acid stream is carried out in a furnace, of which the operating temperature is set to 800 to 1,200 deg.C. A ratio of air supplied to the spray nozzle to the waste acid is set to 0.01 to 0.1. |
