A second dioxin-oxidation catalyst is a catalyst composed of a surface-modified titania support obtained by impregnating anatase type titania with a manganese compound and firing the resultant titania and a vanadium oxide adsorbed and deposited on the support. A third dioxin-oxidation catalyst is a catalyst composed of a surface-modified titania support obtained by impregnating anatase type titania with a silicon compound and firing the resultant titania and a vanadium oxide adsorbed and deposited on the support. |
