SOFTWARE DESIGN SUPPORTING DEVICE AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prepare a relation-type design document which requires time only by means of reviewing a necessary part and to improve design quality by reusing a design having a past result. SOLUTION: Data identifying the record of an object to which a graphic element refers is given to the graphic element referring to the object in an entity data base 26. A reference object consistency holding part 24 retrieves the entity data base 26 with data or name information identifying the recording of the object given to the graphic element referring to the object that the entity data management part 25 in the graphic element which a work storage part 20 stores manages as a key. When the record exists and the attribute is changed, the change is reflected on the attribute of the corresponding graphic element. When the record does not exist, data identifying the record given to the graphic element is updated to data corresponding to the designated reference object.
