Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reasonably diagnosing whether the buckstay of a coke oven can be continuously used or not. SOLUTION: This method comprises the following practice: a portion of the buckstay 2 of a coke oven is partly taken as a sample 3, the sample 3 is then stuck with a plurality of strain gauges 4 for measuring stress or the like and subsequently put to a bending load test to measure the bending stress on the sample 3 to determine the stress distribution throughout the sample 3, and based on the result, whether the buckstay 2 meets the requirements for its continuous use or not is decided.
